Yam drying process:
1. Peel the yam, cut it into thin slices of uniform thickness, clean it thoroughly, and place it in a material tray. Be careful not to stack it,
2. Preheat the drying room, adjust the temperature of the dryer to 50 degrees Celsius, and preheat for 0.5 to 1.5 hours;
3. Control the temperature of the drying room between 46 and 48 degrees Celsius, and dry for 3-4 hours. Pay attention not to excessively high temperature and humidity, as high temperature and humidity environments can easily cause discoloration of yam slices;
4. Based on this, raise the temperature by 10 degrees Celsius and adjust the drying room temperature to between 50-60 degrees Celsius. The yam slices continue to evaporate, and the water vapor is taken away by the dehumidification system;
5. Raise the temperature of the drying room to between 60 and 70 degrees Celsius, increase the moisture discharge, and dry for 6 hours until the moisture content of the yam slices drops to 10%, which is the completion of drying.
