Sweet potato drying steps:

 

The first is the pre-treatment work: first clean the sweet potatoes, then put them into the boiler for cooking. Take out the sweet potato when it is about seven or eight mature, and wait until it cools before slicing. Drying process:

 

1. First step, when the temperature of the drying room reaches 40 degrees, push the material cart filled with sweet potato chips into the drying room, set the target temperature to 40 degrees, and the time is 2 hours.

2. Enter the second stage, set the target temperature to 60 degrees, and set the drying time to 2 hours for continuous dehumidification.

 

3. In the third stage, the target temperature is raised to 65 degrees, and the drying time is set to 2 hours for continuous dehumidification.

 

4. Enter the fourth stage, set the target temperature to 70 degrees, set the drying time for 2 hours, and carry out continuous dehumidification. Generally, the humidity of the final sweet potato chips is kept at 16-18%, and drying can be completed.

5. After the shutdown, let the sweet potato chips cool naturally.

The entire drying time is generally around 12-14 hours.

 

Packing into the bag: Take out the dried sweet potato chips for bagging. It is best to vacuum pack. The packaged sweet potato chips can be stored in a cool environment or can be refrigerated.
