How to dry banana chips

Banana slices have always been a favorite snack for people, rich in nutrients and easy to preserve. There are generally two types of equipment used for drying banana slices, one is an air energy heat pump dryer, and the other is a vacuum freeze dryer. Banana slices on the market are generally made using a drying process, with the specific steps as follows




1. Choose ripe and edible bananas.




2. Peel and slice with a slicer. A thickness of less than 0.5 centimeters is best, do not cut too thick. If the air drying time is longer, the taste will not be good.




3. Spraying lemon water can prevent discoloration.




4. Drying: 65~70 hot air drying for 18~20 hours to achieve a moisture content of 16~17% in the finished product.




5. Softening: Cover the finished product and let it sit at room temperature for 24 hours.




6. Packaging: Sealed with polyethylene film bags.




7. Storage: Store at room temperature for more than half a year, keeping the color, aroma, and taste unchanged.
