What is a Drytech heat pump dryer?

A heat pump dryer is a type of condenser dryer. These dryers are extraordinarily energy efficient, as they recycle heat in the process of extracting moisture – often resulting in energy efficiency ratings of up to 4.0(COP)

How a Drytech heat pump dryer works

A heat pump dryer passes hot air over your products(fruits/vegetabl/meat/fish/herbs...etc.) to collect moisture and dry them. This same air then goes through air to air heat exchanger and an evaporator, where the moisture is condensed and collected in a water tank or discharge to outdoor.


Where other dryers simply blow hot air on your poducts, heat pump dryers use a more sophisticated energy-efficient heat exchange system to conserve and reuse the same air (waste heat recovery).

Drying system incorporating a dehumidification cycle have been developed that both conserve energy and handle the material gently. The dryer operates using a heat pump where both sensible and latent heats are recovered from the exhaust air. The heat is then recycled back through the dryer by heating the air entering the dryer.
